Councils in NSW have unique planning powers which allow them to require that new buildings be all-electric without gas connections. And the exciting thing is that NSW councils don’t need to wait for the state government to take action – councils can change their planning rules on their own! It’s an opportunity for us to drastically reduce local gas demand.
