Following the Global Climate Action Summit (GCAS) in California last September, and the release of the UN scientists’ IPCC climate change report, Australia and partners are hosting an Australian Energy Fast Forward Summit (EFFS) on 21 February 2019.

Key international and national leaders will present at the summit, which is focused on speeding up the rapid move to renewable energy and opportunities in the global low carbon economy. Speakers include CEO of the UN’s Sustainable Energy for All Rachel Kyte (keynote videolink), the Clean Energy Fund’s Danny Kennedy (in person), California Energy Commissioner David Hochschild (in person), and former Clean Energy Finance Corporation CEO Oliver Yates (in person).
