Companies like Buru, Origin and AWE are gearing up to use risky fracking techniques to drill beneath the iconic Kimberley, the fertile soils of the Mid-West and even have permits over the outer suburbs of Perth.
The vast reserves of gas beneath WA is the fifth largest in the world. At a time when we must be transitioning to renewable energy sources, unleashing this massive carbon sink would be disastrous.
